Hernández Sidelined for 4 Months Friday, September 30th, 2016 Sanford learned today that they will be without reliever Claudio Hernández for 4 months. Hernández was injured throwing a pitch and sustained a bone spur in his elbow. He was hurt in the game against the Westside Road Warriors. This year Hernández has collected 2 saves in 25 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark with a 3.54 ERA and fanned 36 batters in 28 innings. Opponents are hitting him at a .208 clip in 2016. |
