League Suspends Martin and Orozco for Fisticuffs Saturday, September 5th, 2015 It was quite a row yesterday at Baylor Ballpark. The Stingrays Jérôme Martin and the Fascists Adrián Orozco backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Martin and Orozco were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 3-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. Martin is presently hitting at a .172 pace with 3 home runs, 30 RBIs and has scored 40 times. This year Orozco has worked 62 innings with 67 strikeouts en route to a 2-2 record and a 3.77 ERA. |
