Díaz Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games
Wednesday, August 5th, 2015
Bethesda could care less about Gabriel Díaz's hitting streak. All they care about is who won the game. The Hornets manager told BNN, "Not to belittle his streak, but at the end of the day, the important thing is winning the game, not stopping a hitting streak."

Well, the Hornets didn't stop Gabriel Díaz today, but they won the game 5-4 over the Lost. The Las Vegas second baseman was 1-for-5 in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games.
Gabriel Díaz singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.

So far this year, Díaz is batting .277 with 1 home run and 20 RBIs.
