Bums Richelmi Wins AHL Best Hurler Honor Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 The Pitcher of the Month Award has been selected and the August Herrman League winner is Palm Beach relief specialist, Anatolio Richelmi. For his fine work in June he has been named the league's foremost pitcher. During the month, he excelled with no saves in no save opportunities, a 1.06 ERA and 5 wins and no losses. In 34 innings Richelmi struck out 21 and gave up 19 hits and 11 walks. To date this year Richelmi has fashioned a 1.85 ERA over 82.2 innings with a 9-1 record. He has made no relief appearances with 55 strikeouts and no saves. |
