Barrage of Hits Gets Gregory AHL Award Monday, June 30th, 2014 22-year-old Chris Gregory made a few Bel Air headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and August Herrman League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 8 hits in 21 at-bats to put up a .381 average. Gregory collected 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 5 runs. This season Gregory is batting .250 with 17 RBIs, 15 runs scored and 4 home runs. |
