Kingwood-Coney Island Fight Results in Suspensions Sunday, June 29th, 2014 Mauro Fonseca of Kingwood and Wilford Hodge of Coney Island have been sanctioned by the league office for causing the ruckus at Stable Park yesterday. Both players have been given 5-game suspensions for instigating the fight and subsequent free-for-all. Thus far this year Fonseca is batting .204 with 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 11 runs scored. This year Hodge has no saves, totaled 5 innings, allowed 9 base hits and fashioned a 16.20 ERA while racking up no strikeouts and a record of 1 win and 1 loss. |
