Vázquez Whips Whitewater Friday, June 13th, 2014 In a sharp 3-hit performance, Juan Vázquez tossed the Bel Air Princes to a 6-0 shutout victory over the Whitewater Eagles, fanning 4 and walking 1. "That's as good a stuff as I've seen in a long time," the Whitewater manager said in his postgame interview. So far this year Vázquez has made 13 starts, tossed 87.2 innings, struck out 51 batters and walked 30. His record is 7-1 with a 2.57 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .223 batting average. |
