Nichols's Otero Down with Injury Saturday, May 31st, 2014 Disappointing news today for Nichols Gnats fans. Eduardo Otero was hurt running the bases in their game against the St. Paul Saints and has a broken bone in the elbow. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the right fielder out at least 8 months. This year Otero has batted at a .210 pace with 25 hits, 1 home run, 14 RBIs and scored 16 times. |
