Edwin Connibeer out 6 Months With Injury Tuesday, May 6th, 2014 Edwin Connibeer and the Houston Sting got a bad break in today's game against the Pioneers as the team confirmed he will miss 6 months with bone chips in his elbow. The Sting reliever suffered the injury throwing a pitch. The team doctor is confident he'll make a full recovery. This season Connibeer has accumulated no saves, registered a 8.38 ERA and struck out 13 in 9.2 innings. He also has a 0-1 record in 5 relief appearances. |
