Vikings Center Fielder Turner Injured Sunday, August 25th, 2013 The Victoria Vikings will have to make do without Keith Turner for 4-5 months. He suffered torn ankle ligaments while making a defensive play in the game today against the San Angelo Mustangs. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the center fielder. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." Turner is currently batting .243 with 20 home runs and 74 RBIs. |
