Wicklund and Fields Fight, Get Suspended Saturday, August 17th, 2013 The shenanigans between the Dearborn Pioneers and Palm Beach Bums will leave them a little short-handed for a few games. The Pioneers Clarence Wicklund and the Bums Nick Fields were suspended by the league for 5 games following the on-field battle this week at Silvery Lane Field. This year Wicklund has socked 20 hits in 72 at-bats for a .278 average with 1 home run. He is getting on base at a .373 pace and his totals also include 10 RBIs and 14 runs scored. |
