ACL Announces Player of the Week Monday, August 27th, 2012 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Sam Harper was rewarded with the Alexander Cartwright League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Newark Jail Birds shortstop hit .611 while collecting 11 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. This year Harper is batting .407 with 4 home runs. |
