Week's #1 Player Honored by FFL Monday, July 23rd, 2012 So far in his young career, Daniel Roberts has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Sandy Springs Spartans first baseman hit at a torrid .417 clip as he collected 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. So far this year in 23 games Roberts is hitting .344 with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
