Cy Young Award Presented by FFL Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 High-pressure game situations don't seem to affect Tim Fowler, the bullpen ace of the San Antonio Storm Troopers. This season he was regularly put to the test and regularly made quick work of the opposition. In recognition of his dominance, the Ford Frick League today presented the 2017 Cy Young Award to him. Fowler appeared in 52 games and converted 24 saves in 28 save opportunities. The Storm Troopers star had a 8-4 mark with a 3.03 ERA. He also chalked up 119 strikeouts and walked 79 in 107 innings of work. |
