ACL Player of the Week Chosen Monday, September 11th, 2017 So far in his young career, John Henneberry has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Alexander Cartwright League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Newark Jail Birds first baseman hit at a torrid .522 clip as he collected 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 5 home runs, 10 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Henneberry has a .348 average and a .455 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 48 hits, 13 home runs and driven in 37 runs. |
