Ramos Is August's Top Starter Friday, September 1st, 2017 In August, José Ramos tore through the Ford Frick League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Cincinnati starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 2.13 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 42.1 innings he collected 36 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .241 average. This season Ramos has compiled a 10-10 record with a 4.51 ERA. |
