FFL's Top Hitter Named Friday, September 1st, 2017 Garrett Bennett is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Sandy Springs first baseman joined that select company when the Ford Frick League announced the results of August's voting. Bennett totaled 34 hits, 34 walks, 8 home runs, 27 RBIs and 29 runs scored last month to put together a .337 batting average and .504 on-base percentage. In 131 games this year Bennett has posted a .252 average and put up these numbers: 26 home runs, 92 RBIs and 104 runs scored. |
