Patterson Takes ACL's Best Bat Award Friday, September 1st, 2017 Barry Patterson put together a good August to earn the Alexander Cartwright League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Blackpool officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Gamblers left fielder posted a .381 batting average with 6 home runs, 22 RBIs and 18 runs scored. So far in 2017 Patterson is batting .284 with 19 home runs, 69 RBIs and 69 runs scored. He has 99 hits in 349 at-bats and a .402 OBP. |
