Vallée Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Tuesday, August 29th, 2017 Sandy Springs's 22-year-old right fielder Kevin Vallée has had a fine run at the plate over the last few weeks. His consecutive-game hitting streak has reached 20 games now. Today Vallée extended the streak by going 1-4 against Ninjas pitching. The streak has brought him a degree of attention that he has tried to deflect. Vallée always prefers to talk about his teammates' accomplishments rather than his own. After the Spartans 8-2 triumph over New York at Confucius Field he downplayed his part in the victory. Kevin Vallée struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. For the season Vallée has produced 34 hits in 95 at-bats for a .358 average with 3 home runs and gotten on base at a .465 clip. |
