Big Day with Bat: Rodríguez 6-7 Saturday, June 17th, 2017 Cincinnati right fielder Júlio Rodríguez put on quite a show at The Studio with a big 6-hit day in the 9-8 victory over the Madison Beehive. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate, 6 for 7.. Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average ... and my salary, too." Júlio Rodríguez singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Rusty Moore in the 6th, singled in the 8th, grounded out in the 10th, singled in the 12th, walked in the 14th and singled in the 16th. Thus far this year Rodríguez has hit .432 with 6 home runs and 17 RBIs. |
