Carson City's Gérard FFL's Best Monday, June 12th, 2017 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Ford Frick League, but last week Michel Gérard of the Carson City Mustang reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Gérard rocked opposing pitching for a .536 average (15-28), 1 home run and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. Thus far this season in 62 games Gérard is batting .325 with 3 home runs, 39 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 78 hits in 240 at-bats. |
