Leonard Goodwin showed how it's done as he went 5 for 7 against the Cincinnati Snaps and helped the New York Ninjas beat them 7-6. The manager for the Snaps told the BNN sportswriters, "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it. That's the game of baseball. Don't make mistakes and you win a lot more ballgames." If Goodwin keeps hitting like this, he could be headed for a big pay raise. Leonard Goodwin flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 11th and grounded out in the 13th. So far in 2017 Goodwin is batting .261 with 3 home runs, 27 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 47 hits in 180 at-bats and a .354 OBP. |
