FFL Star of the Week Announced

Long Island Ducks shortstop Steve Wilson walked away with the Ford Frick League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days.
"The Ducks fans are really behind me right now," said the 26-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better."
Wilson batted .478 (11-23) with 3 home runs and 7 RBIs this week on his way to the award.
So far this season Wilson is batting .323 with 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 40 hits in 124 at-bats, 27 walks and a .441 OBP. Wilson has played in 40 games.
