Young Wins FFL Top Pitcher Honors Saturday, October 1st, 2016 In September, Rob Young tore through the Ford Frick League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Rock River starter posted a 4-1 mark and an ERA of 2.00 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 45 innings he collected 39 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .241 average. This season Young has 10 wins and 9 losses and a 4.35 ERA. |
