Streak Finally Over, McCauley Held Hitless Tuesday, August 23rd, 2016 After 23 games, Brian McCauley saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 4 at-bats. However, the Lights won, which took some of the sting out of it. Phoenix topped the Lake of the Isles Wolves 5-4 at The Den. "It was a good run," the right fielder said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point. I'm just glad we won the day it ended." This year McCauley is hitting at a .320 pace with 23 home runs and 101 RBIs. He has played in 122 games and scored 92 times. |
