Week's Premier Performer Honored by ACL Monday, August 1st, 2016 The votes have been cast and counted and the winner of the Alexander Cartwright League Player of the Week has been chosen. It was presented earlier today to Floyd Cross for his red-hot week of hitting. The Lake of the Isles center fielder took home the trophy by splurging with 13 hits in 26 at-bats for a .500 batting average, driving in 3 runs and scoring 11 times. In his season totals, Cross has 6 home runs, .293 BA, .380 OBP, 40 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has played in 74 games. |
