ACL Player of the Week Awarded Monday, July 18th, 2016 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alexander Cartwright League, but last week Alan Hurt of the Lake of the Isles Wolves reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Hurt rocked opposing pitching for a .450 average (9-20), 2 home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. Hurt is swinging at a .253 pace on the year with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has played in 22 games. |
