Vázquez Is May's Best FFL Hurler Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 In May, Ramón Vázquez tore through the Ford Frick League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Phoenix starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 0.90 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 40 innings he collected 49 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .196 average. This year Vázquez has posted a record of 8 wins and no losses with a 0.78 ERA. He has appeared in 10 games and struck out 84 in 69.2 innings. |
