Otsuka Week's Best Player Monday, May 9th, 2016 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alexander Cartwright League, but last week Tsukasa Otsuka of the Anniston Cougars reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Otsuka rocked opposing pitching for a .435 average (10-23), 3 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this year in 31 games Otsuka is hitting .252 with 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
