López Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, April 9th, 2012 At the age of 28, Esteban López might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Jacksonville center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .522 batting average. For his efforts López collected the Alexander Cartwright League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs and 11 RBIs last week in 5 games. |
