Whitecaps Steve Wagner Wins ACL Award Monday, September 21st, 2015 One of the league's most exciting young players, Steve Wagner of the Grand Haven Whitecaps earned himself Alexander Cartwright League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 24-year-old second baseman had a lofty .440 average (11-25), collecting 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Presently Wagner is batting .275 and has collected 10 home runs, 32 RBIs, .355 OBP and scored 32 runs. |
