Mrazek Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 26
Friday, September 18th, 2015
Herb Mrazek saw his 26-game hitting streak wither and die today during the Snaps 8-4 victory over Sandy Springs at The Coliseum. The 21-year-old center fielder was held hitless in 5 at-bats by Spartans, but his Cincinnati teammates produced enough offense to garner the win.

Talking to reporters after the game, Mrazek was upbeat. "Am I disappointed about the hit streak? Maybe, just a little bit. How could you be unhappy after you have hit in 26 straight games? I'm just glad it lasted as long as it did. And I am really happy that we won another ballgame today. Life is good."

So far this year, Mrazek is batting .315 with 3 home runs and 31 RBIs.
