FFL Selects Wade June's Best Pitcher
Wednesday, July 1st, 2015
"The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games."
Scott Wade put together a very solid month to take home the Ford Frick League's top pitching honor in June.
The 23-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 9 relief appearances he raked in 1 save and 24 strikeouts in 27 innings as he put together his 4-0 record and 3.00 ERA.
On the year, Wade has recorded 1 save with a 9-3 record over 91 innings. He has mowed down 73 batters on strikes and walked 20 with an ERA of 2.37.
