Pedersen Torches Rams for 6 Hits Saturday, June 13th, 2015 At Outlander Park Johnathan Pedersen was the King of Swing today in the 8-5 win over the Rams. The Jacksonville second baseman stepped into the batter's box 6 times against the Frisco and delivered 6 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He told the press, "Unbelievable feeling. It felt good. 6 for 6! It does wonders for your batting average, too." Johnathan Pedersen singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off José Rivas in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Pedersen is batting at a .303 pace this season, picking up 70 hits in 231 at-bats with 2 home runs, 25 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
