Lake of the Isles Comes up Empty Against Brouillette Tuesday, May 26th, 2015 The Lake of the Isles Wolves struggled at the plate today against Red Bulls hurler Lincoln Brouillette, who shackled them on 2 hits while hurling a complete game 10-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said the Wolves skipper in his postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Brouillette finished the game with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," his manager said. "Lincoln made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively." This year Brouillette has fashioned a 3-1 mark, 3.16 ERA and pitched 62.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .231 against him and he has logged 52 strikeouts. |
