AA News: Playoffs begin Tuesday, October 7th, 2014 With the playoffs mere hours away, each of the contenders are putting their game faces on. It's time for ballplayers to leave it all on the field. In the Double A playoffs, miracles do happen, but most often it's simply the team that plays better baseball that goes home with the prize -- the much-coveted Double A World Series championship. The Double A League Championship starts today with these games: Grand Haven Whitecaps versus Riverside Red Bulls and Carson City Mustang versus New York Ninjas. |
