Sandy Springs's Robbins Suspended for 3 Games
Saturday, October 4th, 2014
Sandy Springs third baseman Eric Robbins was ejected in the game between the Spartans and Snaps for letting loose a profanity-laced tirade against the home plate umpire after some calls didn't go the way he wanted. Robbins was just as incensed after the game.

"These guys are a joke. How can people expect to take this game seriously when you have games like this?" Robbins said in the locker room after the game.

Now Robbins must face the consequences of this actions. League officials released this brief statement to the media: "We are regretful that Robbins has taken this to the level that it has reached. The league will not tolerate this type of conduct. Due to his actions during and after the game, the league is suspending him for 3 games."

So far on the season Robbins is hitting .320 with no home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has 8 hits and played in 10 games.
