Ducks Morgan Injured Saturday, September 28th, 2013 After the end of today's game between Long Island and Phoenix, Cordell Morgan skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, the Ducks had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The reliever will miss at least 9 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Season-to-date Morgan has 1 save in 19 relief appearances with a 0-0 record and 1.90 ERA. |
