Ferris Wins FFL Player of the Week Prize Monday, April 29th, 2013 Gary Ferris is respected by most Madison Beehive fans for his no-frills style of play. The 21-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Ford Frick League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .318 average (7-22) with 5 home runs, 10 RBIs and 6 runs scored. A look at his current stats shows Ferris with a .253 average, 7 home runs, 21 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
