BCL's Best Batter Selected Saturday, September 1st, 2012 Jesús Guareno is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Detroit left fielder joined that select company when the Blake Camden League announced the results of August's voting. Guareno totaled 40 hits, 15 walks, 6 home runs, 22 RBIs and 21 runs scored last month to put together a .364 batting average and .440 on-base percentage. This season Guareno is batting at a .320 clip with 16 home runs and 68 RBIs. |
