KSL Star of the Week Chosen Monday, August 6th, 2012 One of the league's most exciting young players, Matt Smith of the Mdewanketon Sabercats earned himself Kade Stenson League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 25-year-old center fielder had a lofty .452 average (14-31), collecting 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 9 runs scored. So far this year Smith is hitting .311 with 11 home runs. |
