Bad News for Reformers, Matos Injured Friday, September 8th, 2017 The Springfield Reformers announced this afternoon that starting pitcher Jorge Matos would be out of action for 8-9 months. He sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow playing the Bombers. It happened throwing a pitch. Up to now Matos has compiled an ERA of 7.30 with a 2-14 mark over 29 starts. He has 145 strikeouts in 130.2 innings and has held opponents to a .288 batting average. |
