BCL Honors August's #1 Pitcher Friday, September 1st, 2017 Calvin Townend has made fans throughout TRIPLE A take notice over the past month with an exceptional 5-1 record. No pitcher in the Blake Camden League threw better in August, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today. In 6 starts Townend compiled a 2.44 ERA, putting up a 5-1 record, striking out 48 and tossing 48 innings. On the season Townend has compiled a 8-5 mark with a 2.92 ERA in 16 starts. In pitching 123.1 innings he has 98 strikeouts and 20 walks while limiting the opposition to a .224 batting average. |
