Bronx Third Baseman BCL's Best Batter in August Friday, September 1st, 2017 When Ken Abbott stepped up to the plate in August, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Blake Camden League Batter of the Month award. The young Bronx third baseman posted a .467 batting average with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 13 runs. Abbott also worked pitchers for 7 walks to post a .528 on-base percentage.
