Hawkins Belts 5 Hits Friday, August 11th, 2017 "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Detroit left fielder Millard Hawkins said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Indian Wells Aeropostales at Stars Field. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Death Stars had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 7-6. Millard Hawkins singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 7th. This year Hawkins is batting .288 with 3 home runs and 30 RBIs. |
