Red-Hot Bradley Scorches Argonauts Monday, July 31st, 2017 It was a sensational day at the plate for Ron Bradley, but a letdown as well as the Mustangs dropped the game 17-10 to the Argonauts. Nonetheless the Billings left fielder was pure misery for the Astoria pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win. That's the important thing," Bradley said. The manager of the Argonauts told BNN reporters after the game, "Bradley put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw him some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Ron Bradley singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Dani Cordero in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Bradley is hitting at a .296 mark this season. His stats show 1 home run, 18 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has played 58 games for the Mustangs. |
