Mdewanketon's Kelly Collects May Batting Honor Thursday, June 1st, 2017 Beach balls were coming in at Peter Kelly in May and he banged, bashed and blasted them all over the park, putting up a .485 batting average and hauling in the Kade Stenson League Batter of the Month trophy. The 21-year-old Mdewanketon second baseman collected 50 hits last month in 26 games. He put up 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and 28 runs scored. Kelly also drew 10 walks and compiled a .535 on-base percentage. This year Kelly is batting .411 with 83 hits, 8 home runs, 31 RBIs, 19 walks, .473 OBP and has scored 53 runs. |
