Mastroianni Earns BCL Top Pitcher Trophy Monday, May 1st, 2017 There's something about a young rookie winning the Blake Camden League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Joël Mastroianni, a 25-year-old starter for the Philadelphia Freedom. In April, he topped off the month with a 6-0 mark and 3.32 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 43.1 innings, fanned 40 and held opposing teams to a .223 average. |
