BCL's Top Player Named Monday, May 14th, 2012 The Blake Camden League presented its Player of the Week Award to Antioch Coal Miners shortstop José Piña. "His numbers speak for themselves," a club publicist said. "He's been really seeing the ball well." Indeed, Piña has. Last week he went 8 for 15, batted .533 with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs. This year Piña is hitting .288, produced 23 RBIs and 6 home runs, scored 17 times and gotten on base at a .356 rate. |
