He told his pitching philosophy to sportswriters in the postgame interview after his 7-0 victory over Astoria. He blanked them on a 3-hitter, allowed 2 walks and had 6 strikeouts. "I really felt comfortable the whole game," Dooley said. His manager echoed his comments, saying, "He hit his spots time and time again." This season Dooley has compiled a 7-7 record with a 4.74 ERA in 20 starts. |
